The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct the Multi Tasking Non Technical Staff Examination 2023 for the recruitment of MTS and Havaldar (CBIC and CBN) positions in various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and their subordinate offices. The SSC MTS 2023 exam will be conducted in computer-based mode. The online registration process for SSC MTS 2023 will begin on 30th June 2023 and end on 21st July 2023.

Selection Process:

– The selection for SSC MTS Exam will be based on three stages:
– Paper I (Online Exam)
– Physical Efficiency Test (PET) / Physical Standard Test (PST) (only for the Havaldar Post)
– Document Verification

Age Limit:

– 18-25 years (candidates born between 02.01.1998 and 01.01.2005) for MTS and Havaldar in CBN (Department of Revenue).
– 18-27 years (candidates born between 02.01.1996 and 01.01.2005) for Havaldar in CBIC (Department of Revenue) and a few posts of MTS.

Pay Scale:

– Pay Band-1 (Rs 5200-20200) + Grade Pay Rs 1800, Revised Pay Scale after 7th CPC. Pay Level in Pay Matrix – Level-1. It is a General Central Service Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post in various Ministries/Departments/Offices of the Government of India, in different States/Union Territories.
